Face Unlock Function Launches Out For Honor 9 Lite Via HOTA
Honor 9 Lite, a handset rolled out below Honor (the sub-brand of Huawei), has began getting “Face Unlock” function through Huawei’s Over The Air (HOTA) update, the firm claimed to the media in an interview. The HOTA launch has began in batches and will be launched out to everybody by March, 2018.
“Honor 9 Lite will be the most reasonably priced handset in the market of India to back feature of Face Unlock and will additionally materialize as the best ‘value for money’ handset with superior software and hardware configurations,” Vice President at Huawei Consumer Business Group for Sales, P Sanjeev, claimed to the media in an interview.
The Honor 9 Lite has 5.65-inch of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a pixel ratio of 1080 x 2160. It also has a pixel density of 428 ppi and a 75.5% of screen to body ratio. The device is fueled by an Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor and has a GPU of Mali-T830 MP2. The smartphone currently runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo). Speaking of memory, the handset offers of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory for storage. This internal storage memory can be further expanded to 256 GB via external MicroSD card.
Moving towards the imaging duties, the new Honor 9 Lite has 13 MP + 2 MP of dual rear camera with phase detection autofocus, LED flash. It also offers a 13 MP + 2 MP of dual front camera with f/1.9 aperture for capturing selfies. The device runs on a 3,000 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the handset offers VoLTE, 4G, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, and Bluetooth. The device will be available in sapphire blue, midnight black, navy, glacier gray, magic nightfall, seagull gray, and pearl white color variants. Last but not the least, the Honor 9 Lite has a price tag of Rs 13,999.
