Google Assistant Will Now Speak With You In Hindi

Google, the Internet search behemoth, has declared the roll out of Google Assistant in Hindi. According to Google, the Hindi roll out of Assistant comes to smartphone operating on Marshmallow (Android version 6.0) and above. In addition, it will be soon arriving to Lollipop (Android 5.0), Android Oreo (Go edition), and iPhones devices.

During last year, Google rolled out the Assistant in Hindi for Allo, the instant-messaging portal. The Google Assistant fundamentally allows you have a chat with Google for your daily activities such as get the quickest route to work, tell you regarding your day, or set an alarm for the day, now in Hindi.

To use it, consumers require saying “Ok Google” or touching and holding the Home button. Consumers will have to set the language in Hindi on their handset and then upgrade the app of Google Search to the newest version.

Speaking on this, Technical Program Manager for Assistant, Purvi Shah, claimed, “The Google Assistant is actually an Indian, it is your useful friend that recognizes the things you care the most and speaks our language, from pulling up the latest cricket score, to finding biryani recipes, or getting road to the closet ATM. So as to make it even more helpful for people in India over time, businesses and developers can now make Actions for the Assistant in Hindi via Actions (the developer platform) on Google. Once an action is made, you can access the content or service straight via the Assistant.”

On a similar note, Google Voice Assistant witnessed a 6x growth in its consumption, claimed the firm to the media in an interview. In a decision to give power to the users of feature phone in the nation, Google previously declared to convey its Voice Assistant on JioPhone made by Reliance. This was the first time in the history that Voice Assistant was made obtainable in any feature handset.
